What is there:

updatecenter - contains autoupdate center with a stable distribution 
of nbandroid. Read http://kenai.com/projects/nbandroid/pages/Install
for installation instruction.

nbandroid 1.<x> NBMs (nbandroid-1.7.zip) - recent version(s) of 
nbandroid modules as a downloadable archive.

v1.<x>beta - older versions of nbandroid with project support based
on Android SDK tools.

v0.<x> - deprecated version of nbandroid modules using project support
that is very similar to NetBeans J2SE projects. See 
http://www.nbandroid.org/2011/03/improved-migration.html for hints how 
to migrate to current version. It is there just for archiving purpose
now.

Where is udpates.xml?

Old autoupdate center 
(http://kenai.com/projects/nbandroid/downloads/download/updates.xml)
is now removed and there is a new one at
http://kenai.com/projects/nbandroid/downloads/download/updatecenter/updates.xml
Please migrate your setup and your projects to new nbandroid version
when you are ready.
