this commit represents a good deal of work toward Spidermonkey feature multiplexers, including a C-code test for a facility that struck me as being potentially kind of fragile. in retrospect, maybe it's more solid than I thought, but I needed a test to find out that I had made a typo, so I'm happy about it. |

This closes bug 471 "'C' is a flag, not an option." In fact what has been fixed is that the 'C' flag is now picked up during the getopt() loop and added to the list of flags so that it is available to the command-line interface. A side-effect of this commit is a change to the declaration of the environ proxy variable. |

This brings bug 418 "GPSEE binary module needs ByteString support" pretty much to a close, adds some useful argument processing utilities which constitute a beneficial exploration of how GPSEE might provide argument processing for modules in the future, and adds over 40 test cases for ByteString. At the moment, four of the tests fail, but they are not critical ones. All that remains to add is the 'options' argument to ByteString.split(), for which no tests have been written. |
