Running NetBeans 7.0-beta, I downloaded version 1.9.6.8.4. When I attempt to install it, I get the error message:
Some plugins require plugin Java Editor to be installed.
The plugin Java Editor is requested in implementation version 8.
The following plugin is affected:
Serial version UID generator
Neither of the 7.0 plugins work. Thank you in advance for your work on this plugin.

This is the same issue as NB_SVUID_GENERATOR-8, except for NetBeans 7.0 beta-2.

NetBeans 7.0 plugin doesn't install in netbeans 7.0-beta2
You can use this build for beta2:

Special build for beta1 is not needed anymore.
