The link examples specifically mention mysite.com, which I feel encourages spammers. I would like to see these examples changed to much more Sun/Java related links.

Further discussion can be seen in the thread http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5408153.

According to the user's request, the example link is now changed. No QA needed.

Unfortunately the issue is not properly fixed yet.
URL – example: http://www.sun.com/ Link Text(optional) – example: My Site

That statement is inconsistent, and My Site is a poor example of the link text for Sun Microsystems. How about change the Link Text to the latter, or change both the URL and link text to the Java Tutorial. E.G.

URL – example: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/ Link Text(optional) – example: Java Tutorial

I 'vote' for the Java Tutorial link, on the basis it is one of the most linked items from the forums.
