The goal of this project is to develop a front-end interface to Cloud Storage provider CLIs that enable encryption/decryption of content stored in the Cloud. While the goal of this project is to focus initially on Amazon S3, other Storage Cloud providers are in scope. Additional functionality, such as compresison, splitting, etc. are also in scope.

The goal of this project is to develop a plugin module to the OpenSolaris ZFS Automatic Snapshot functionality that will enable ZFS streams to be encrypted and stored on the Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3). Zones to encapsulate service instances. SMF to start / stop, and control the provisioning and associated zone payloads. mysql as a registry (state)/ repository to track status, payloads etc.
