Yes, our image scaling algorithm can definitely be a lot more sophisticated. There was already some work done in this area, and we'll continue to make this better. Thanks for the feedback.

Use the Sign Up page to create a new account or use your SDN (Sun Developer Network) account. For Sun employees email/ldap password should work, but if you don't have an SDN profile or have not updated . . .
