Agent libraries that run in the Virtual Machine for the Java(TM) platform that provide Solaris(tm) 10 Dynamic Tracing (DTrace) probes. This source code can be used to create two native agent libraries that can be dynamically loaded into a VM (1.4.2 or 5.0) at VM startup. The agents are called dvmti and dvmpi.

This project aims to provide a generic API for Unix aplications to store configuration settings. The ultimate goal is to provide a single API so that applications don't have to care about where to store configuration settings, or parse them. Another goal is to provide a notification API so that all the system can figure out when the keys have been changed. Another APIs like this already exits, such as GConf, Xconf or dconf, but they all depend on GLib/GObject and not every project wants to depend on this. UConf pretends to depend only on libc and posix.

This project provides help documentation, training tutorials, and release notes for Project Kenai, and creates community through mailing lists and forums. The users mailing list is a useful way to keep track of things and communicate (subscribe at http://kenai.com/projects/help/lists). The forums for Bugs, General, and UI are good places to discuss problems, report bugs, and ask for information.

Project Live* [live-star] introduces a new approach to software distribution and configuration in a data center. Major software components (e.g. an operating system or an application server) are distributed as immutable disk images that contain pre-installed and ready-to-run software. Users can, within the limits of compatibility, use these Lego-like building blocks to construct more complex systems.

The objective of this project is to develop a REST interface for our Sun Grid Engine product. The aim is to allow easy access to Sun Grid Engine as currently there is no straightforward way of interacting with the Grid remotely. With this REST interface serving out JSON or XML data, other developers can easily build AJAX-enabled webpages or mobile clients to consume these data and display visual/graphical representation of the Grid/cloud.

This was formerly called the javamake utility from http://www.experimentalstuff.com/Technologies/JavaMake/index.html. This tool's functionality is analogous to the "smart checking" feature of Borland JBuilder or the dependency analysis feature of IBM Jikes. However, it is a command line tool that is not tied to any IDE, can be used with any Java compiler, and can run as a task in the popular Ant make system.

grizzly-sendfile is an extension for grizzly, the http connector of GlassFish application server. grizzly-sendfile is highly optimized for sending static files over HTTP and adds the "X-Sendfile" functionality to grizzly or GlassFish applications. This allows applications to offload file downloading functionality to the application server, which can take full advantage of lower level APIs like NIO to deliver files to clients very efficiently. See the wiki for more info.
