Calculinum - Simple Calculator by Joshis

Calculinum is a simple calculator that offers all the basic functions you need from the calculator. In contrast to other calculator projects you might find here on Kenai, this one actually works and it is not a dummy/dead project. The Kenai project contains two Netbeans Java applications - one of them is a library with a basic command-line interface, the other one is Swing-based GUI.

Run a Calculinum demo

Main features:

• support for Java Webstart - just bookmark the JNLP file in your browser and have your calculator by your hand all the time!
• supports basic expressions with +, -, * and / operators and with braces
• support for functions: log, ln, exp, sin, cos, tan, abs, sign, sqr, sqrt
• included constants: PI, e (constants are implemented the same way as functions at the moment)
• last result can be accessed via the "last" keyword (for exmple "2*last")
• nice highlighted history of expressions
• syntax checking (expression is red and crossed from the place where error was found)
• nice UI and simple intuitive interface :o)
