METALISM is a project that aims to simplify the first steps that every developer must follow to solve a problem using Multi-agent systems (MAS) as the solution based approach. In the next paragraphs is described the context and a brief introduction of the project development. Also the tool composition and how to use instructions. At this moment the development team is developing the main tools so this will be updated time by time in accord with the objectives accomplished in the METALISM project development team. Introduction

METALISM is a project developed under a Ph. D. thesis work directed and supervised by Pr. Michel OCCELLO who is the leader of the Complex Systems research group at LCIS and co-director of the laboratory LCIS - (Laboratoire de Conception et Integration de Systèms) in Valence, France also by the Pr. Felix Francisco RAMOS-CORCHADO leader of the distributed systems research group in CINVESTAV Guadalajara Mexico. This work belongs to a scientific cooperation between french and mexican research institutions.

In their origins METALISM is born as a software engineering previous step of every development project that aims to be a multi-agent based system.
