An implementation of the Campbell Prediction System (CPS) used to predict potential fire behavior of a wildland fire. CPS is used to adjust tactics and strategies to ensure the safety of firefighters and the effective use of resources. This is a NetBeans platform app with a 3D terrain viewer using NASA WorldWind, JOGL, VisAD and Weka libraries. Current development of v0.4.1 is within the trunk. Make sure to add the Open-GL pack (included) before building -- see the forums or README.TXT.

This is a test project for learning how things work in Project Kenai. I will add new features and try new things as they become available. Some of the features that you see in this project, may not be available to the general public yet. Advantages of being on the Project Kenai Team. :-)

This project provides help documentation, training tutorials, and release notes for Project Kenai, and creates community through mailing lists and forums. The users mailing list is a useful way to keep track of things and communicate (subscribe at http://kenai.com/projects/help/lists). The forums for Bugs, General, and UI are good places to discuss problems, report bugs, and ask for information.

Just a brief update: I've been silent on the forum(s) the last couple of weeks, but I haven't been idle (far from it). I've been refactoring some of the class hierarchies to use the VisAD math types . . .

Java Swing Designer wanted
Your "Basic GeoCaching Tool" (bgct) project looks interesting. I'll be paying attention to it. I'm afraid I'm not much of a GUI designer, so I'm not a candidate for helping in that area. However, . . .
