A python based Mu* frame works. Only systems that help the developer build a mud will be included. Things such as a basic world database(NOT the world though), basic OLC, scripting support, etc. This project is currently in Alpha stages and is currently seeking a few people to help develop the code or offer help from time to time as I am just a hobby coder.

I commit directly to kenai. IF your more comfortable we can look into going to google code or some other site and just leave kenai for releases.

I'm only going to comment on a few things here. First is documentation. I have epydoc and have used it. MY only problem was that I was changing the code so often and the code wasn't working (took me . . .

Features?
a client would be good. There is a python based client that models tintin++ called lyntin. It's more or less a framework that is easy to extend. We could also just do our own, but all that can be de . . .

I think the database will make things easier to query like you said and, in theory, make things more organized. Also, with an SQL db there is no need to load everything into memory right away and thin . . .

Ok, I took a look at pyf and I have to wonder if I/we aren't trying to reinvent the wheel here. I'm guessing you have some experince with pyf, so what do you think? Would it be hard to convert it to . . .

ipython has a simple code to call it, making it embeddable. It can even call itself from code it's running. I've looked over the documentation some and it seems that there are two major modes. One i . . .

Sorry this took so long. Just started a new job, so I'm adjusting :) Here's a brief overview of what I'm trying to do . This is, of course subject to change depending on how we want to implement dif . . .
