Exactly which is why I'm now staying put. I've tried a couple of other 'forges' out there, but there's been nothing that's just worked out of the box.

Ok with the latest status update, I'm leaving all of my projects here. javaforge didn't work out too well, so I'm going to leave everything as is on kenai.com so when they finally move over to java.ne . . .

Yes it was... not happy :-( I suppose it's either badly managed or they realised they were making a mistake - time will tell. My migration hasn't been easy but then with everything still here as well . . .

Yes that is a major problem with the web in general. I've got most of my repos mirrored on bitbucket now (at least thats a good point for using a distributed repo) and I'm looking at what to do about . . .

Thats interesting. Not having used git myself but it's like mercurial in being distributed so initially I'm going to use bitbucket as a backup online repo. I've still not decided yet on google code fo . . .

I can't say anything better than that. I found kenai to be the best one for my needs as well as it had everything I needed in one place and it all worked (almost, never really had webDAV working proper . . .
