Research in rigorous numeric computations on JVM. This may include implementation of intervals, Taylor models, methods to estimate rounding errors in non-rigorous computations. BSD license permits to use the results of the research in interval run-time of Scala or Fortress.

Developement of java.math.Binary and java.math.Rational classes. Binary objects are arbitrary precision binary floating-point numbers. Rational objects are arbitrary precision rational numbers. These classes are used in arbitrary precision interval library now. The long-term aim is to suggest them to be part of Java API. Status: starting-up, but classes are functional.
