I've been toying with the idea of something similar. Can you provide some detail around the architecture you're considering? Would Glassfish/OpenESB or project Fuji suit?? JBI/OSGi would allow interactions with a myriad of interfaces including command line, file system, file transfer, DB, all using off the shelf components. Interested to hear your thoughts. |

hey... good to hear from u currently I'm just using Apache Tomcat... Servlets for the site and Flex with Java at Server Side (both Online and Air version) for DB mainly using SQLite 'cuz the idea doesn't require much of the DB oriented patterns and neither too powerful Application Servers its a major feature of my other project WebVeda which is a cloud enabled Personal Desktop here mainly I'll be developing generator for XML-3A and ASM code from the XML-IC that needed to be generated from the Parser of any language that want to Plug-in this service |
