Hey guys, I have read a lot about people using the jdbc adapter, but when I try it on windows XP 64 to connect to DB2, I constantly seem to run into issues. I still can't get my app running. The latest problem, but not the last, is: >> jruby -S rake db:migrate == 20080827195322 CreateVendors: migrating ==================================== -- create_table(:vendors) -> 0.0470s -> 0 rows RubyJdbcConnection.java:216:in `call': java.lang.AbstractMethodError: COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Statement.executeUpdate(Ljava/lang/String;I)I from RubyJdbcConnection.java:1059:in `withConnectionAndRetry' from RubyJdbcConnection.java:211:in `execute_insert' from jdbc_adapter/RubyJdbcConnection$i_method_1_0$RUBYINVOKER$execute_insert.gen:-1:in `call' from CachingCallSite.java:278:in `cacheAndCall' from CachingCallSite.java:117:in `call' from CallOneArgNode.java:57:in `interpret' . . . _____________________________________________________________________ I came here looking for a solution and got some hope that someone seems to have an adapter that works with db2. So I'm wondering when that will be included in and if it will work with db2 version 7.2 and if I can get my hands on it to test it. Otherwise, if you can point me to anything about how to get DB2 working with the current jdbc driver, that would be great. Google doesn't seem to be much help at this point. thanks, Bassel |
When can we get the DB2 goodies
