Operative proposal:

1. The discussion about binary compatibility needs to be extended, and probably the best way is to blog about it.
2. Meanwhile, I seem to understand that Peter could start writing some code.
3. So, I could create a branch where Property is an interface (and the other needed fixes to make it working), where Peter could add his stuff.
4. As soon as we get to a decision, we will make the merge or change strategy.

I prefer going with a branch now as we are still writing tests for the core, and with the current scarce test coverage I prefer to be conservative. Furthermore, the branch could be useful to pratically check how hard or soft is the binary compatibility change.

Thoughts?
