Account

An Account is a list of Transactions. It always belongs to a Ledger, and knows its own balance, which is the sum of all the transactions it contains. Each Transaction is recorded in two Accounts, once as a debit and once as a credit. A credit amount is considered a negative number when calculating the balance. The sum of all the balances on all accounts must therefore always be zero.
