I am working on an open-source application and I need a powerful application framework to build it with. I'm seriously looking at contributing to this project as the foundation for that. Unfortunately, it looks like there is very little documentation (either user or architectural) and no notes on how to contribute. So my 1st question is, other than looking at the code, and the SAF introduction, are there any other sources of information on the BSAF ? My 2nd question is how do I contribute? Where do I/we start ? -Jim Mochel |
How do I contribute?

Thank you for very good question! Currently BSAF is in a very good shape, I think. Many annoying bugs are fixed, and some useful features are implemented in 1.9. The big item we have open for the current release is our documentation. We have several old articles (corresponding links are in the section "PROJECT LINKS"), but all of them are outdated and incomplete. What we need ASAP is updated Javadocs and Reference Manual. People could contribute in following ways:
If you don't mind, I'll add you as a developer to the project. Unfortunately I have not enough time at the moment (looking for a new job ), but I hope I'll be back very soon. |
