The library was downloaded 132 times only from Kenai server so far. I need some feedback for you, guys, are you happy with it?

I think at this moment it is mature enough to release. Go ahead, so we can start adding new features.

Please let me know if you are using or evaluating BSAF.

I'm using it in 3 (2 of them quite small) projects without any problems (1.9 RC5). It's mature enough for 1.9.

G'day,

Am using 1.9RC4 on one project (after migrating from SAF) - will move to 1.9 soon Smile

Thanks,
Chris.

Personally, I landed up dropping (B)SAF entirely, and in fact Swing. I've gone over to the Dark Side of Glassfish and JSF 2.0, EJBs and WARs. While this has its own downsides, it's a *LOT* better than trying to write a responsive and reliable database-driven application in Swing. When the app is just an interface to the data, a web UI where the code is close to the data makes a lot more sense.

So I won't really have much to add from now on, I'm afraid.

It is off-topic for this thread, but I'm just curious what JSF2.0 components library do you use? I have done a lot of stuff with JSF2.0/PrimeFaces and I'm not satisfied with quality/stability/architecture of PrimeFaces. But it was the only library which is in "stable" phase of development and is declared as fully compatible with JSF2.0. Btw, JSF2.0 specification is fairly good. It solves almost all issues of the previous versions.

hi,

i'm using rc5 in many small projects. but most of the time i only use basic features.
i tested different plattforms (win xp/7, linux, mac) and so far everything works fine.

so i call it stable.
