If you stick with the official stable release (1.2 currently) you are pretty safe. As long as the instrumentation doesn't mess up your application code you are on the safe side - and this is covered by rather exhaustive tests. Additionaly, BTrace is used in every installation of GlassFish 3 (in version 1.1) and it also backs Starfish, self tuning analytic system for Hadoop. Regards, -JB- |
