I just installed the brand new VisualVM 1.3. However all plugins and features related to BTrace seem no to work properly: all processes stop at script compiling step. Any insights? I have checked the logs but except this line: WARNING [jsyntaxpane.components.TokenMarker]: Error in setting up TokenMarker for BTraceSyntaxKit - Invalid TokenType: IDENTIFIER; TYPE; TYPE2; TYPE3 there are no other errors and , oh yes, my VisualVM continues to use almost 100% of my CPUs. The BTrace plugin works for the VisualVM bundled with java 1.6u20, but the plugin for VisualVM 1.3 does not work properly even with java 1.6u20 Here is a dump of my environment: Version: 1.3 (Build 100723); platform 100714-2ebb5a681f1b System: Windows XP (5.1) Service Pack 2, x86 32bit Java: 1.6.0_20; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (16.3-b01, mixed mode, sharing) Vendor: Sun Microsystems Inc., http://java.sun.com/ Environment: Cp1252; en_US (visualvm) |

Did you install the BTrace plugin from the VisualVM plugins center? Unfortunately, the BTrace plugins center is not currently compatible with VisualVM 1.3, mostly thanks to the fact that VisualVM uses some new features in BTrace which didn't make it into a numbered BTrace release. Anyway, can you publish the BTrace script causing this problem? |
