I'm deferring the Explorer/Node based work in the CPS Project module and Spreadsheet module for now. I just couldn't get it to work the way I thought it should. There is still more for me to learn about the Node APIs. So, the file based dataset are on hold for now. Meanwhile, I've reverted back to the interactive/GUI support for hourly weather inputs and hourly fire behavior outputs. To support this effort, I'm migrating all the UI code out of the BEHAVE module and into the CPS module. In the end BEHAVE will be a computational utility module. -- Bruce |
Major refactoring effort in BEHAVE and CPS modules is underway

The progess on the CPS project is steady. Its not ready for a show-n-tell yet, but close! I'm still having difficult creating a good hourly wind input panel. The other input panels are maturing nicely however. -- Bruce |

I've gutted many of the modules in favor of separating the interfaces from the implementation -- given that there may be several implementations for the various APIs that I've identified. I've begun using the NetBeans Lookup paradigm for implementing the Service Provider Interfaces. I'm not done yet, but I'm on the home stretch. Overall, I'm pleased with the results. -- Bruce Emxsys.com |

Please note that I've renamed many of the NetBeans modules and I've removed a few from the Campbell Prediction System (CPS-Suite) project. I found that this operation can "confuse" the project window in NetBeans 6.8 after performing an Subversion Update on the CPS-Suite. Here's what I recommend trying:
I hope that makes updating your CPS project to the latest Subversion version easier. -- Bruce |
