Giuseppe wrote in an email:

....
- How could I download a customized group of fuel models (adapted for Mediterranean and Italy mainly)?
- How could I change U.S. numeric indicators in metric indicators (I mean, foots, inches, BTU's, and so on)?

I'm trying to test a real fire (875 ha.) with real data; I hope to verify calculations with concrete length of flame, spread of front and so on.
The tool is very friendly also for people who never utilized BEHAVE.

Good questions, Giuseppe.
  • A provision for customized fuel models has been planned. Your interest in this specific feature will elevate its priority/schedule. I will consider adding it to the next iteration. Can you send me your fuel model files?
  • Regarding this fuel model topic, in the U.S., fuel model codes for geographic regions are available through LANDFIRE (landfire.gov). It is my intent to import this geographic data via ArcASCIIGrid files or other common raster formats. If your local fuel model GIS data can be exported in one of the common raster formats, then it will be imported into the system and coupled to your custom fuel models that you defined.
  • I will add the metric/US conversion option to the current iteration under development (0.4.1). However, It'll probably be the last item to be worked on.

Thanks for the compliment. I'll be posting some screenshots of the new release to the Wiki this weekend.
