This project requires the NetBeans OpenGL-Pack plugins to provide
the JOGL and GlueGen runtime libraries. The required nbms are in the
netbeans-opengl-pack_0.5.5.zip file located in the "other" folder.

To install the OpenGL-Pack:

1. Download the NetBeans OpenGL Pack from the plugin portal or use the supplied netbeans-opengl-pack_0.5.5.zip; extract the archive.

2. Start NetBeans and open the Plugin Manager (Tools->Plugins).

3. Enable the "Force install into shared directories" checkbox on the Settings page. This setting will place the JOGL modules in the "extra" node within the Platform Modules library list.

4. Add the required modules (.nbm files) to the Downloaded plugins list and press Install. The required modules are:
  • GlueGen runtime libraries
  • JAXB Library
  • JOGL runtime libraries
  • Native library support

5. The installation wizard will guide you now for the rest of the installation.

6. Recommended: After the installation, disable the "Force install into shared directories" checkbox on the settings page so that future plugins are not automatically placed into the "extra" node within the Platform Modules libraries. Otherwise, if and when you add new plugin to your NetBeans environment, the new module will automatically be included in your CPS project.

All other required libraries are included as Library Wrapper Modules.

Important non-NetBeans folders:
  • config: WorldWind configuration files.
  • harness: Contains customized app.conf file(s).
  • installer: Contains IzPack installation files
  • licenses: Contains copies of the common licenses used by nbms.
  • other: Contains third party nbms ready for use in this project.
  • vpproject: Contains Visual Paradigm UML projects.
