Hi folks,

just managed to install the JavaFX SDK and the JavaFX plugin for Eclipse on my Ubuntu system using the respective Mac OS X packages . Everything works fine, except I can not see any snippets or any other tabs in the JavaFx perspective. Any clue how to fix this?

here's the current configuration:

JavaFX SDK 1.0.1
Eclipse 3.4.1
Mac OS X Java FX plugin

best, handrij

Same problem in windows for me. No snippets or sub menu in the Views for JavaFx.

Eclipse Version: 3.4.1
Build id: M20080911-1700

Windows JavaFX plugin

I installed the Eclipse 3.4 for EE and had to close the JavaFx view and reopen it and then the snippets appeared. Doing the same on the non-EE version still did not work

The JavaFX Snippets View is using a snippets plugin that is a part of EclipseEE only. Therefore you cannot see any snippet... There is an issue entered for it: http://kenai.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=157
Regards, D.
