What problem are we trying to solve?

Open Source ERP Applications are now rising in popularity. However before a company, person, entity, enterprise deploys the application they need to verify if the application can scale to fit their needs. The goal of this project is to define some common ERP use-cases which can then be used to stress the underlying ERP application to see if it can fulfill the business metrics required from such system

What ERP applications will be supported?

The goal is to adapt the kit with popular Open Source ERP Applications available in the market

Can App1 be compared to App2 using this toolkit?

No since architecture of every application will be different from each other, the tests will be customized for each application. Hence the resulting numbers from one ERP Application cannot be compared with another ERP application. The goal of the benchmark is to help each application be stress tested so that scaling problems can be identified before deploying it in production.
