Hi all, I just released GIVE 2.2.1. This release fixes some bugs and complaints that you guys have been having, most notably:
The next time you run Maven, it should automatically download the new version of the GIVE libraries. You will also need the new version of the tools distribution, which you can get on the "Downloads" page. If anything weird happens, try to "mvn clean install" your NLG system to force a complete rebuild. Also note that I moved the API documentation to a new website. Updating the old website was unbearably slow, and I think I'll do a much better job keeping the new one up to date with the actual code. As the start of the public evaluation approaches (mid-February), I expect to release new versions of the GIVE software more frequently than so far. I already have some things that need to go into GIVE 2.2.2, but thought I'd release 2.2.1 because it contains some things we've been discussing on this forum for a while now. Sorry it has taken so long to do the actual release -- between the Christmas break and being busy on other things, it was hard to find the time. If you find any problems that can't be fixed with "mvn clean", please post them here, and we'll try to fix them asap. Cheers, Alexander. |
