email list ownership problem after email address change for administrator

Hello,
I created a project today ((revision 20091211.aae2446) ) and as I was working i realized
i should have been using a different email address (I was using the short form of my email when i really wanted the longer form so that the list software would recognize me)

anyway, i successfully changed my email from dealyb@saic.com to brian.dealy@saic.com
and went about my business, then I tried to manage the mailing lists and realized i was
not being recognized as having admin rights even though i saw that I was logged on as adminstrator. (and i created the project and the lists themselves)

So, I deleted one of the lists and recreated it, and it would allow me to
manage the new one. I assume that since the email thing was the only change i had made
that it somehow confused the software to think i wasnt privileged to admin the lists.

I can recreate each list i guess, but thought that this would be something someone should
fix since it would be a pain to recreate lists that have been around for awhile.

Hi,
I stumbled over the same problem and filed issue 1754
http://kenai.com/jira/browse/KENAI-1754

My workaround was to create a new account, give it project administrator status and change the list owner email address using this account.
