Hi Sven- Thanks for this.. I'll investigate and get back to you. Is this a hindrance to you starting a project with us? Meaning, should I fast track this so you can start getting work done? |

| Sven - Great news - looks like we can get this done today or tomorrow. To clarify, do you want us to add the GPLv2 +CPE or a special dual CDDL-GPLv2 +CPE? |

Sorry for coming back this late - too many things on the schedule. Hmm, I just thought about using the same terms as e.g. NetBeans (for better copyright compatibility). Not sure how to better describe this - looking through the list I see you already added GNU CPE. |

Hi Sven, Sorry for not getting back to you on this one sooner. Yes, we added CPE to the list of Approved OSI licenses. This will allow people to select both GPLv2 and CPE if they want that option. After talking to the our OSI rep., this was decided as the best option, rather then trying to add a completely new GPLv2+CPE license itself. Adding both of these licenses to your project will result in the same thing that both OpenJDK and Glassfish are using today. The CPE license that is referenced is the OSI generic version and does not have Sun's name listed in it so others can use it as well. --jb The Project Kenai Team |
