I added files to the Downloads section of my project. I confirmed that those files exist and are located under this URL: http://kenai.com/projects/jcontact/downloads. However, I attempted to access the Download from my website: jcontact.kenai.com, it tries to take to the Downloads page using a different URL: http://jcontact.kenai.com/projects/jcontact/downloads/. It will also give me a error message: "The file /web/projects/jcontact/projects/jcontact/downloads/index.html appears to be missing. To add content to your website, use webdavs." I did not see any documentation on adding downloads using webdavs, and tried to added that page using webdavs without any luck. So, if user is trying access the downloads page from the project's website, what URL should he/she be taken to? (http://kenai.com/projects/jcontact/downloads or http://jcontact.kenai.com/projects/jcontact/downloads/index.html)? If it is suppose to be the latter, how we can add that using webdavs. Again, I saw and used that tool to add pages to the website, but did not see anything to add that downloads page. Thanks! Jim |

As a follow-up, I noticed the same problem when navigate from the website to the other project features, and I have the permissions set up so unauthenticated users can view those pages. The includes, Mailing Lists, "The file /web/projects/jcontact/projects/jcontact/lists appears to be missing", Wiki "The file /web/projects/jcontact/projects/jcontact/pages/Home appears to be missing". Please advise! Jim |

Hi Jim, Website and downloads are 2 separate features. There are no assumed relationships between them. See details at http://kenai.com/projects/help/pages/UploadWebsiteFiles for how to update your website via either a WebDAV client or SCM Website Hook in conjunction with a repository. If you want your website's index.html to contain a link to a particular download file in the project's download area, please use the absolute link like http://kenai.com/projects/jcontact/downloads/download/README.TXT. You can also store files to be downloaded from website area directly. Others have stored maven artifacts on a project's website instead of download areas before. For other links like mailing list and etc. Either turn on navigation bar like you do now for http://jcontact.kenai.com or use the absolute link http://kenai.com/projects/jcontact/lists, http://kenai.com/projects/jcontact/sources.
