Having Jira on Kenai is great stuff. One of the interesting advanced features of Jira is the capability of defining a customized workflow. I think that there are examples on Atlassian site, anyway this is a custom workflow that I use on my own Jira:

https://services.tidalwave.it/jira/secure/admin/workflows/ViewWorkflowSteps.jspa?workflowName=blueMarine+Workflow+v7

I don't know what implications there could be in a multi-user environment such as Kenai - but it would be nice if it was possible to have custom workflows on Kenai.

Thanks.

Hi Fabrizio,

You're not the first to ask for this. You can send an email to kenai-admin<at>sun.com and we will be happy to discuss what can be done with custom workflows.

Thanks,

Any public update on this? Or a link to Kenai's own bug tracker so that we can follow the progress?

Hi Radim,

There won't be a way for individual projects to set their own workflows in Jira.

However, for those few that really need something different, we have worked with them to help out with the changes. Just send an email to kenai-admin<at>sun.com and we will help out as best we can with your project.
