Hello all,

I followed the necessary steps to setup Pidgin and configure it for Kenai. However, when I enable "Account" and click "Close". It shows this error;

username@kenai.com/Home disabled
Not Authorised

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks,
Varun

Hi Varun,

Did you use your username -nvarun or you just put "username" there?
Can you provide us more details?

thanks,

Hey Varun,

What version of Pidgin are you working with and on what OS? We've run into one account that was an edge case and having issues with logins in the last week. You may be number two.

We may need to take this into email to get it resolved.

Let's get the OS and app details first and then we will get you running ASAP.

Thanks,

Hi John,

Thanks for more apt question. I am using Windows XP Professional SP2 and I installed latest version of Pidgin (2.5.6). I also had an older version (2.4.0) which I tried to use, but same error occurred.

Thanks,
Varun

Varun,

You should be good to go on this now. Still working on the others with the same issue in here, but should have that taken care of as well very shortly.

Sorry again for all of the troubles.

I'm having similar issues using Pidgin 2.5.6 and the nightly build from NetBeans.

I've disabled firewalls to be sure no effect.

I've tried Linux64 and Windows Vista, behaves the same.
