Hi Kenai Team, Just a small thing. I generated for my project the JavaDoc. Hmm it looks like crap. Why? Because it uses the default stylesheet.css generated by JavaDoc. Is it realy still the one that was already delivered with the first versions of Java some centuries ago?. That one uses violet and pink and is horrible. I googled a little bit but found no real alternative stylesheet. Everywhere you always find the default stylesheet. Arghh. I think it would be great if you could bug one of your great designers and ask him if he could create an Kenai JavaDoc stylesheet that matches the Kenai homepage L&F. Provide that one as download somewhere. So if I upload my project JavaDoc then it would use it and the doc will match the homepage colors. This would be great. Well you might say. "Hey you lazy moron. Do it yourself, it can't be that hard". Unfortunately I'm totaly unskilled in graphic design. Perhaps someone of the Kenai community can jump in? Thanks, - Bernd |

| This doesn't solve your style sheet request, but just to let you know, with the August 4th addition of the Website feature, you can now create a web site for your project and upload your Javadoc files there. |

Hi, Just as an update if someone is stumbling uppon this topic. The website feature is great and I already uploaded my JavaDoc. I also created a stylesheet. For everyone interested you can have a look at it here: http://proxy-vole.kenai.com/release/current/javadoc/ The stylesheet can be found here. http://proxy-vole.kenai.com/release/current/javadoc/stylesheet.css I created it and you can use it as you like. It is public domain. Hope it helps someone. Have fun, - Bernd |

Also I ended up writing a doclet supporting this: http://kenai.com/projects/reteptools/pages/Doclet Take a note on how to enable the 'kenai' style skin. It's not 100% complete, but works for most things - even got the wiki code formatting to work (sort of). http://reteptools.kenai.com/api/retepNioSax/SNAPSHOT/index.html?uk/org/retep/niosax/package-summary.html Peter |
