| I'm sure this is the case but want to make sure that the projects are backed up reliably. What infrastructure is used for this and how often are they backed up? |

Project Kenai is hosted in the Network.com data center. It is an HA 24/7 facility. Storage servers are replicated every 15 minutes and nightly backups are also performed on all downloads, source code repositories, and databases.
