Hello all, I tried out some features of Kenai and was quite impressed. However, a good way to get a tool like this to gain popularity would be to make it more usable for students. Most of my comp sci dev work is for assignments. Some assignments can be publicly hosted AFTER the due date, but not before. So that means, for individual work I can manage my own code and documents in a VCS at home (no big deal). But for group work, (since I don't have a static IP) I am back to emailing source files. Is there any service or forge that can be used this way? (I.e. sources closed to public for a reasonable term) RD |
