	Hi, i am new here. When i browse the projects, not one shows a description. How do you want me to join a project if i cant see what its about. I think its a big miss.

	The missing descriptions are an omission by the project owners. Descriptions are displayed for those projects that have them. Unfortunately there are a LOT of empty projects on Kenai. Try browsing by project tags and you will probably filter out a lot of the empty projects. -- Bruce

	I noticed this too. A good idea maybe to make brief descriptions mandatory or to have a filter available "with description only". Would this be possible? Its still a great resource though, if one has the time to sift through.

	Verified that we do require "Description" as an mandatory field during project creation. So these projects without descriptions must have been created before we require it to be mandatory. So closed http://kenai.com/jira/browse/KENAI-2205. Thanks, -Lea
