Hi there,

I just started again with a new project, Wembed, as I'm still waiting for some external facts to really start with my previous one, WebGuide.
Anyway, I'm a long time user of Jira so I added it as issue tracker to my new project and everything is quite smooth, kudos, except for the fact that "sometimes", I'm unable to comment on issues. I haven't filed a bug because I've been unable to pinpoint exactly the circumstances and reproduce it consistently, but it happens quite often.

The symptoms are that I create an issue, then proceed to add a comment and then the server returns an error page with the message:
-------------------
Errors
* The issue no longer exists.
You do not have permission to comment on issues in this project.
-------------------
I then go to browse project, find the new issue, add the same comment and it works.

It seems to me that there is some kind of issue where the "add coment" fails if you just did something with the issue, as it failed also after changing the status of one issue...

Am I the only one experiencing this?
Salute!
D.

Hi Peter,

I haven't noticed the https vs http, but I'll try to check and see if that has something to do with it.

Thanks,
D.

The fix to this bug will be deployed to production during next deployment. For now, the workaround is to use "https" when accessing JIRA issues.

Thanks for all the feedback and comments. Please keep them coming!
