I don't know if someone mentioned it already but it seems that right now there is no need for username, since it is not used at all as soon as you specify one of your real names. What I mean is when I was creating my kenai account it asked me to provide my prefered username. When I specified it I expected that it will be what others will refer me to. But instead, on forums and project pages I see my real name instead of my username. |

True, but you still need to login to the site with either your username or your email address. The default is the username for everyone. The choice to show your real name is just something that you can do if you like. It's all about options and choices. We try to please as many people as we can.  The Project Kenai Team |
