Hi,

I want to embed a Google calendar in one of my wiki pages, but I can find any reference on how to embed a iframe in a kenai wiki page

Hi Peter,

I'm looking into this a bit deeper, but I believe we don't allow the <iframe> tag on purpose right now. I'll know for sure shortly.

Have you looked in to allow media wiki widgets like this one http://www.hexten.net/wiki/index.php/Google_Calendar_Widget

Having a calendar for a project to contact with users and developers (arranging meetings, scheduling releases and meetings) seems like a neat idea, only I've never stumble upon a project that uses it. What was your purpose to use it?

For this specific calendar we where going to keep track of one of our lab systems. So that our HOL developers and testers could find a empty time slot and book the machine.

Hi Peter,

I got the word back from the engineering team. We did indeed disable iframes from the wiki pages because of security concerns. We're still researching how we could implement this in the future with more strict limits on access and such.

This site gives a good summary of what kinds of security issues we are trying to avoid with iframes
