Important Notice

The HIEOS development team would like to announce that the HIEOS project has moved to SourceForge.

The new Wiki URL is http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/hieos The new URL for downloading files and source code is http://sourceforge.net/projects/hieos

HIEOS is an open source implementation of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) Cross Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS.b) and Cross Community Access (XCA) integration profiles. This platform enables secure health information exchange between disparate health communities, thereby enabling care providers to have longitudinal perspectives of patients’ health records. HIEOS provides core components that enable health information exchange in a federated, hybrid or centralized model. Core HIEOS components include IHE compliant (and verified): Record Locator Service (RLS), Repository (can be federated) and Gateway.
