THe goal of this project is display subject data over a time frame. The example I use is to show the Western Europe from 100 BC to 400 AD. Obviously, this is the roman empire, but other civilizations were there too. This application can show any meta-data about any civilization during this time period. The is a FRAMEWORK though. This means that this application can show data from anywhere using any time line. It can use any data too. The ultimate goal is to have an open source framework, with requests to customizations for a fee.The UI will be using JavaFX. It was chosen because of its Java roots, and Web Start delivery system. Hi, I'm not yet familiar with JavaFX. Does your alpha version demonstrate some of the functionality of JavaFX? In other words, if I check out your codebase, will I get a basic demonstration of how to construct a JavaFX app? -- Bruce |

| This project is still in the early stages, but does show how JavaFX works. Right now I am drawing a triangle, moving the position of the triangle when I press the left or right key. For a better feel for a JavaFX application, I have JFretsFX., which is based off of my JFrets desktop application. The features are not complete, but it is further along the History Slider at the moment. |
