I've never personally been very interested in having an image-like concept for Ioke. That said, if anyone feels like hacking it together, that would be really cool.
Packaging is a different story, and that's something we need to have a discussion about. Do people feel it would be time to start working on this? That would probably drive quite a few other libraries, such as sockets and IO and so on.
I will personally not have time to get that done before the P release, so maybe we should aim to start serious work on packaging directly after P?
