Hey all,
I'm still very interested in trying to get tuples (possibly including destructuring assignments) to work. My deepest apologies, I've been drowned in work recently so I couldn't find the time to work on those even though I said I would a couple of weeks ago. I'd like to keep working on it if nobody's got any objections? I've got some ideas, but there are still some open questions that I'll need to clarify with you. Apart from that, the one thing that really gets me excited is the tree template restructuring thing. I've no idea how that would work, but I guess you have, Ola? Anyway, I hope that it's in for Ioke P. I don't know of any language that supports such a feature (please correct me if I'm wrong) ...
Well, but if there's need I'm gladly volunteering for any other things that need to get done ...
Ok, it's pretty late in Germany by now ... so good night to you all ;)
Cheers, Martin

Hi people,
I'm really itching to get Ioke E out - especially now that Java
integration is in place.
So the current plan is to fix all the pending specs (mostly shoring up
some List operations) - then fix the documentation (improve the guide,
fix the Java integration stuff and so on) - and then release it.
I'm aiming for a release this week.
So if anyone has something they want to be part of it, now is the time
to bring it up!!
After the release, an exciting time will begin. These are things I want
to get done then:
- Tree template restructuring
- Cane
- Concurrency
- Destructuring assignment with ()
- Units
- IO, Sockets
- Tuples
- IIk - saving history to file
I'm also interested in Brian's mocking support, Vic's continued IOpt
work, Vic's Mike, More updates to Sam's TextScanner, Sam's templating
engine, Feliperos web framework (but that will probably not be merged in
core), and several other things.
So, once again, if you want something on the list for Ioke E, tell me
now. If you have something you're interested in for P or F, then this
would probably be a great time to speak up too. The current list you see
above.
Cheers
