Since a few days I released the new version 1.6.0 of Imixs IX Workflow API and IX JEE Workflow Server. The new release include a ReportService. This feature support a power full report function which allows you to generate dynamic reports based on running Business Processes. The Report Feature will be included into the IX REST Services so reports can be used very easy. For configuration of a report I am working currently on a Eclipse Plugin. This Plugin extends the IX Workflow Modeler with a new Report Editor that allows a Workflow Modeler to create and manage reports as *.ixr files directly in a Eclipse project. The IX JEE Implementation now supports separated local and remote interfaces. Versions before that release did not. So I recommend to work with 1.6 release. During a large project we found some issues concerning the read- and write access handling, when using strong restricted access. We fixed a lot of little bugs. So I recommend to use the 1.6.1 release or the 1.6.2-SNAPPSHOT |
