I am planning to use J-ISIS in a class on ISIS-basics, so the database creation wizard will be used as an alternative to the WinISIS one (as was always the idea behind J-ISIS). It needs a bit more flexibility however : - in the FST multiple entries of the same field tag should be allowed (e.g. to allow indexing a field with more than one technique) - after creating the database opening it has to be done explicitly (whereas it could be opened automatically I would think) - and when being opened the software should be a bit more forgiving when there are errors (grammatical) in one of the tables, esp. with beginners as users this will happen often. |
