Just checked-in a transactional file JCA connector, see GenericJCA, GenericJCAAPI and JCAClient projects in the repo. I also described the initial idea in my blog. As everything in Java EE - it is surprisingly simple Smile

Excuse Adam, would it be possible for you to change the JCA examples to use annotations from JavaEE6 instead of a xml file?
One more thing. Is there any way to bundle a custom connector as part of an EAR?
If I'm solving a small problem for a specific project, like read a file from an EJB, using a custom Connection whouldn't be too much work?

Hi Yellowbike,

I will reimplement this example with annotations - but you could just rework this example as well. I could provide you "push rights"

thanks for your interests!,

Hi Adam,

Thank you for answering. Would be great if could give me some advices about how to do it myself. There aren't much content about it on google.

What about the second question? Is it possible to bundle a JCA connector as part of an EAR project?
