As you will have seen, kenai.com is shutting up shop. We need to decide if it makes sense to migrate jCalendarCopy to another platform, or if we should quietly let it die. Here's why we should let go: 1) The latest version of Sun's calendar server supports CalDAV so it should natively sync with iCal. 2) The main user base for jCalendarCopy has always been Sun employees. As Sun employees become Oracle employees at LEC over the coming months, they will switch to using Oracle's calendaring solution rather than EdgeCal. I'll keep a copy of the code myself so I can reuse if needed at some future point. If anyone reading this feels strongly about retaining jcalendarcopy as an open source project, please let me know.
