Was on IM helping a new user work through the tutorial when a couple bugs came to light... ("couldn't find 'logger'" and images failing to load from the main data/ directory...) Both were fixed in the repo, but not in the latest gem. And I had installed a locally-built gem without releasing it, which was cheerfully masking the problems on my system only. My apologies to anyone who's had difficulty getting started as a result of this oversight. As they were, they would have prevented new users from even completing the tutorial successfully. Just did a new release (gem version 2010.1.5), which should fix these problems. Please install with "sudo jruby -S gem install jemini", try out the tutorials, and let us know how things go for you - user feedback and comments help catch this sort of thing quicker! |
