That sounds .. dumb, in my humble opinion.
Why not call the format-specific stuff .leicaraw or something like this? Or stick all the format-specifics into another package called .format?
I don't understand the .raw -> .craw, while .rawprocessor doesn't change name. Is the latter then a part of the leica format-specific stuff?
Endre.

Hello.
As you know, jrawio has got no public APIs, in addition to the Image I/O APIs (the first public APIs will be introduced with 1.6). Still, the APIs for inspecting metadata are relatively stable and we mentioned about how to use them in the website. For this reason, presuming that some of you might use them, I'm warning about a package rename that has been just committed and will be part of 1.5.5:
it.tidalwave.imageio.raw has become it.tidalwave.imageio.craw
it.tidalwave.imageio.rawprocessor.raw has become it.tidalwave.imageio.rawprocessor.craw
https://services.tidalwave.it/jira/browse/JRW-260
The reason for the change is that a new raw format from Leica is being added, it's named RAW and will be using the *.raw packages (JRW-261). There's no timeline for JRW-261 as we just got some sample to analyze.
