Here the new process to contribute to JScience (not official yet).

1 - Goto http://java.net/jira/browse/JSCIENCE

2 - Create an issue of type "New Feature" to describe your contribution (and verify that no similar issue exists).

3 - Assign the issue to yourself.

4 - Start Progress (jira tab) 

5 - Attach your source code (zip) to the issue (make sure to use JScience's license).

6 - Change status to "Resolve".

The issue will be closed when incorporated (after review).

There is no issue with regards to "Support for calculating roots and zeroes in class Polynomial", therefore feel free to create one.

contribute this. I would use a Newton iteration to find the first zero
and then find the next ones with the same approach after dividing with
the first zero. Are there any methods which always yield a solution in
contrast to Newton?
